SEPTEMBER--Change and Continuity Unit
Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee by Dee Brown
The month of September is coming to a close, the bulletin board is a reflection of your hard work and participation at school--specifically, Activities of Daily Living. We learned basic laundry skills and how differently the Native Americans washed their clothes--not a washing machine but at the river. I look forward to next month's unit (History & Geography utilizing the novel, Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck).
