"There is no story that is not true." Chinua Achebe, Things Fall Apart

"There is no story that is not true." Chinua Achebe, Things Fall Apart

ADL is ready for Chinua Achebe's 50th Anniversary of Things Fall Apart.

Today's lesson analyzed the food eaten in Nigeria to the cuisine we eat here.

We watched a Prezi presentation on the Food of the Igbo culture. We found
that there are similarities
between our culture and that of Igbo.
Students used a Venn diagram to organize their ideas about the two
cultures.

Homework: Select of 1 of 2 options to complete
Option 1: Please search the internet for dishes that are eaten in the Igbo culture or Nigeria.
Option 2: Create a list of ingredients that are commonly used in Nigeria and/or Igbo culture.
