"if he's poor in hisself, there ain't no million acres gonna make him feel rich"― John Steinbeck, The Grapes of Wrath

In order to identify the amount of profit, we must first identify the different components of a receipt.

Maria is assisting the students of V81 on identifying how much profit would be made.

Based on the independent work, we need to review and go over the work. As I graded the worksheets, I have noticed many of you are making simple mistakes. Please pay close attention to the directions and the questions being asked. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how much money we make but how much you learn.

Homework: Please select 1 of 2 options.

Option 1:

Please note that question #4 requires an explanation for your pricing of the items.

Option 2: Please answer the following questions.

1. How much are the blueberry muffins?
2. How much are the danishes?
3. How much are the Quakers bars?
4. Based on the cost of the items, how much should we charge the blueberry muffins, danishes, and Quakers bars? And why should this be the price?
