The Early Beginnings of MSCD cart

MSCD CART

Student helped unload and
stock the refrigerate
with a variety of Snapples, granola bars
and Starbucks coffee--to help teachers get
the extra boost in the middle of their
teaching day.

Here they are ready to be sold.

New coffee machine to go along with the many delicious pastries.
They were priced at $1 for each pastry except for the mini croissants.
Do you think we should have charged more?

Homework: Select 1 of 3 options for homework.
Option 1: Look at the receipt above and see if we made a profit. If so, how much of a profit could we make? (There are 6 muffins in each box for $3.99. The danish costed $4.99 with 6 pieces in the box).

Option 2: How much of a profit can we make if we priced the mini croissants at 2 for $1. It costed $5.49 and there are 24 croissants in the box.

Option 3: How should we price the coffee? Should we have a members reward benefit such as buy 2 cups of coffee and get 1 free cup? If not, please explain why? If so. please also explain? If you have a better idea, please share in 5 complete sentences.

Again, as stated in previous postings please asked a family member for help if you are having difficult with the homework and of course please select the homework which you feel challenges you. It is important to be aware of your strengths and areas of improvement so that you continue to grow as a student and person.

See you tomorrow!!
