"We measured it and broke it up..."

"We measured it and broke it up. We were born on it, and we got killed on it, died on it. Even if it’s no good, it’s still ours. That’s what makes it ours—being born on it, working it, dying on it. That makes ownership, not a paper with numbers on it."

--John Steinbeck, Grapes of Wrath, Chapter 5

This is our school garden now...

We measured it and will break it...soon. Mr. Lokenauth and I have been working together to change the condition of the garden. We will need your help as well. After all, "Even if it’s no good, it’s still ours."

We are applying for a grant through the organization below. Please click the link and share any ideas you may have for our school garden in class on Monday.
